Compared with SBS modified asphalt waterproofing membrane, APP modified asphalt waterproofing membrane has better high temperature resistance and is more suitable for use in hot areas.

Key points for selection

1. Type I polyester or fiberglass tire APP modified asphalt waterproofing membrane has high heat resistance, but poor low-temperature flexibility. Suitable for use as a roof waterproof layer in general construction projects in non cold regions. Waterproof rolls with polyethylene film or fine sand as the upper surface material shall not be exposed for use.

2. Type II polyester tire APP modified asphalt waterproofing membrane has the characteristics of high tensile strength, high elongation, good heat resistance, and good low-temperature flexibility. Suitable for general and colder or hotter areas, with waterproof grades of I, II, and III for roof and underground waterproofing projects.

3. Type II fiberglass tire APP modified asphalt waterproofing membrane has high tensile strength, good dimensional stability and heat resistance, but no elongation. Suitable for general and relatively cold regions with structurally stable roofing or underground waterproofing projects.

4. Fiberglass reinforced polyester felt roll can be used for mechanical fixation of single-layer waterproofing, but it needs to pass wind load resistance tests.

5. The composite use of coil and coating should be compatible and should be placed on top of the coating; When the roll material is used in combination with waterproof mortar, it should be placed under the waterproof mortar.
